Oviatt Penthouse
Beauty Shoot February 19th 2012
We need male and female models, stylists, and hair and makeup. General crew/assistance is welcome as well.
The 1920's era Oviatt Penthouse is located in downtown Los Angeles. For the shoot, I would like to pay homage to the art deco surroundings in the space, but bring in the personalities of each model involved. Please take a look at the links for more information on the space, as well as the ideal style. Being that we don't have any specific designers in mind of the shoot, we would like the models to bring clothing that they have that would fit the aesthetic. Anything from dresses and gowns, to lingerie and jewelry. We would like to get a general inventory from each girl and guy of what they can bring for themselves and if we need to do some shopping prior to the shoot we will. In terms of what kind of modeling will be involved, these are beauty portraits in the space, using the surroundings and the model to create some stunning images. Depending what models we get we will introduce a "Love Story" into the mix. There may be some nudity involved if the model is comfortable with it, but it is not a "nude" shoot. There are a lot of places in the space to work with so there are lots of opportunities to be expressive.
